Scope of duties:

• Ensures accurate processing of company’s payroll for 1500+ employees
• Ensures that payroll process is executed timely in line with polish legislation and IBM policies
• Ensures payroll is processed in a timely manner,
• Analyzes and reports on financial data, check and audit payroll to make sure regulations are met,
• Checks the correctness of the monthly payroll list calculation
• Checks the correctness of the monthly ZUS declaration and payment of social security contributions
• Checks the correctness of the monthly tax advance payment
• Prepares yearly tax return form PIT-11 and the social security contribution information RMUA
• Cooperates with Polish Institutions and foreign IBM departments
• Coordinates, manages, coaches and trains Payroll Team of 4 team members,
• Leads the drive for continuous improvement
• Drives team engagement
• Supports implementation of payroll software and systems,

Requirements:

• Master Degree in Finance/Accounting or similar discipline is preferred
• At least 4 years of professional experience in payroll area (preferably in international environment).
• People management skills
• Wide knowledge and understanding of current payroll legislation and statutory requirements
• Wide knowledge of Polish labor law
• Problem solving skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong management and communications skills
• Knowledge of Payroll software applications
• Good knowledge of Ms Excel
• Very good English (min. B2)
• Very good Polish is a must
