Scope of duties:
- Ensures accurate processing of company’s payroll for 1500+ employees
- Ensures that payroll process is executed timely in line with polish legislation and IBM policies
- Ensures payroll is processed in a timely manner,
- Analyzes and reports on financial data, check and audit payroll to make sure regulations are met,
- Checks the correctness of the monthly payroll list calculation
- Checks the correctness of the monthly ZUS declaration and payment of social security contributions
- Checks the correctness of the monthly tax advance payment
- Prepares yearly tax return form PIT-11 and the social security contribution information RMUA
- Cooperates with Polish Institutions and foreign IBM departments
- Coordinates, manages, coaches and trains Payroll Team of 4 team members,
- Leads the drive for continuous improvement
- Drives team engagement
- Supports implementation of payroll software and systems,
Requirements:
- Master Degree in Finance/Accounting or similar discipline is preferred
- At least 4 years of professional experience in payroll area (preferably in international environment).
- People management skills
- Wide knowledge and understanding of current payroll legislation and statutory requirements
- Wide knowledge of Polish labor law
- Problem solving skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong management and communications skills
- Knowledge of Payroll software applications
- Good knowledge of Ms Excel
- Very good English (min. B2)
- Very good Polish is a must
