State Street Global Exchange’s Data Solutions team is seeking a versatile individual with business systems and data analysis skills for development and support of GX Data Solutions services and product offerings. The successful candidate must possess: skills in business data analysis with experience in functional requirements gathering and documenting; good verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to liaise between business/implementation and technology teams; and good collaboration skills. This role is part of broader DataGX client implementation team based in Poland and working closely with implementation leads in London, Frankfurt and Boston.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the DataGX project team with analysis, testing, documenting and input to clients (internal and external).
- Analyze and document data mappings from source systems to the Data GX solution and onward data outputs for client implementations
- Develop an excellent working knowledge of the Data GX offering to perform subject matter expert activities, consultancy, implementation and configuration.
- Support on-going enhancements to scope of services for existing clients as needed.
- Work closely with the business systems analysts to understand the business requirements and data.
- Support live products and clients by troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by business users.
- Work as a member of a global team – provide status, communicate issues, share ideas, and follow process for analysis, development and support protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Familiarity with financial instruments is required.
- Previous experience implementing software or data services is preferable.
- Desire to learn technical skills, e.g. SQL, database design, etc. SQL experience is an advantage
- Solutions/client service orientation with focus and desire to deliver high quality client solutions.
- Analytical and planning skills and attention to details.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good communication skills – both verbal and written.
