Join us as a PMO Governance Analyst!

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a PMO Governance Analyst to join our Portfolio Management Office (PMO) team that provides governance and support for the execution of the Service Delivery project portfolio. The CM PMO is responsible for establishing and enforcing best practices for project execution, providing tools and training to Project Managers and Business Analysts, and managing budgets, resources and project demands across the portfolio.

In this role reporting to the PMO Manager, you will work with project professionals across the organization to define and document project management best practices.  You will build and implement tools to support the process, and provide training to Project Managers and Business Analysts in the Service Delivery organization. You will work directly with Program Managers, Project Managers and senior stakeholders across the European region to ensure project management best practices are followed and projects are delivered within standards.

 

Some of your key responsibilities include:  

  • Ensure Project Managers’ adherence to strong project management and project execution standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle
  • Train Project Managers and Business Analysts, define the training approach,develop training curriculum and programs, and deliver training courses to the global team
  • Provide portfolio reporting, budget management, and resource management support to ensure successful execution of the project portfolio

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adapt to changing priorities and demands, and multi-task to meet deadlines
  • Prior experience in project related work preferred
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite, Sharepoint and CA PPM preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Financial services experience a plus
