An exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to get on the marketing career ladder. We are looking for a marketing content delivery specialist with a collaborative mindset and a passion for bringing a story to life online, to work with European Lubricants Brand and Comms teams. The role consistents of three components: digital content management, events co-ordination and marketing services.
Digital Content Management:
Responsible for ensuring the content on Shel Markethub is up to date and that we are fully maximizing opportunities to promote our products and services to Lubricants customers in order to grow digital engagement and ultimately sales
Work with local brand and comms managers to support launch campaigns, create and publish content and implement campaign assets in line with brand principles, facilitate/ provide translations for digital content;
Work closely with the local sales and brand and comms teams to build an awareness of local events and promotions.
Responsible for Shell Markethub website maintenance, update and content feeding, performing regular site audits to remove content that has become redundant
Work closely with local Customer Operations team to understand customers’ pain points, channel them into the product backlog and work jointly with central team on development in line with customer feedback.
Use analytics to review campaigns performance, identify actions to improve digital marketing activity to optimize user experience, ensuring digital marketing KPIs are met.
Align with European sales and marketing teams to track local market event requirements and where possible, implement synergies between markets (e.g. combining two markets into one same event)
Management of in country event administration tasks including the purchasing cycle of marketing collateral and co-ordination between business, marketing and event owners.
Manage 3rd party events agencies who provide organised tours and book event travel.
Attend in market events where necessary and provide tactical support during events.
Feed translation requirement into Creative Solutions and validate translations (where appropriate language skills permit)
2+ years' experience in a digital marketing environment
Excellent written and verbal skills in English min. C1
Fluent French or Italian or German (every further language is a plus)
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, other content management systems. Working knowledge of google analytics and tag manager would be an advantage.
Strong communication skills, attitude of a proactive, high-energy teammate to drive projects to fruition in a timely, customer-centric way
Project management skill with excellent attention to detail
Strong analytical skills, proficient in connecting data sets from multiple sources, analyzing and interpreting the data
Competent user of Powerpoint, Microsoft Word and outlook, xls
Knowledge and experience of web page building and site management processes preferred
Understanding of information architecture and best practice web standards.
