Senior Performance Measurement Analyst will work as a part of Performance & Analytics Business Specialist team. The qualified candidate will support planning, coordination and efficient implementation of new business, new product subscriptions and change events requested by clients.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support of Projects and Implementations, active participation in project planning and project calls
- Set up of accounts and products on performance systems and tools, assistance with new service roll out
- Load and verification of historical data
- Verification of accuracy of performance results utilizing Performance System, running system jobs from logout, rates calculation and log in
- Research and analysis of performance results through a two-step audit: the first category being data validation/reconciliation of Accounting data to Performance data and the second category reviewing and validating return reasonability
- Identification and resolution of data mapping issues
- Set up of Breakouts and Composites portfolios
- Set up of Custom Benchmarks and Custom Hierarchies
- Set up of Standard Client Reporting for Performance Measurement and /or Attribution
- Engage in Client Process/Risk assessments, prepare Client Specific Procedures and project related documentation
- Assist in operation teams training
- Ensure product/client operational readiness and effective hand over to production teams
- Liaise with internal State Street departments such as Accounting, IT, Market Data Team and global P&A teams
- Assist more senior staff in designated projects and assignments
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in an Investment Performance and/or a Fund Accounting Group
- Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related field
- Knowledge of financial services, securities industry and capital markets
- Attention to detail, strong analytical and proven problem solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent PC skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
