Job description:

 

The Subsurface and Wells (SSW) team drives quality and efficiency by integrating expertise from Excellence team and skills from Operations team. 

Job accountabilities:

 

  • Front end loading of petrophysical data

  • Provide quality control, cataloguing, recovery and preservation of data

  • Operational base load support: managing different types of well data (well logs, well documents and core data within corporate and project databases as well as national repositories)

  • Responding to the SubSurface & Wells data team / end-user requests e.g. resolving data quality issues, reactive identification of data issues or provision of data sets to the government

  • Participation in the elements of Data Projects

  • Measuring and reporting data quality/Technical standards management

Requirements:

 

 

 

  • University degree in Petroleum Engineering/Geosciences/Computer Engineering with specialization in Upstream/Oil & Gas.

  • Experience Freshers/1-2 years of relevant industrial experience and Relevant academic & Project experience in a similar role/organization.

  • Recall database and Linux knowledge will be a plus.

  • Knowledge of well logging principles will be beneficial.

  • Behavioral Competences: Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment across multiple time zones to accomplish operational excellence and required data quality objectives. Ability to deal effectively with complexity and detail and to prioritize, ensure delivery of priorities.
