Chief Accountant - Construction sector

For our Client - international construction company we are currently looking for experienced professionals to join the company on the position of Chief Accountant.

Scope of duties:

• Financial supervision and control of company projects;
• Management of accounting department consisting of 5 people;
• Creation of financial planning including monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting process;
• Analyzing and appraising business performance against budget, identifying and following up specific issue;
• Treasury and cash flow management, currency risk control;
• Performing and reviewing monthly financial reports and intercompany reconciliations;
• Completing VAT returns;   
• Supervision of monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting and tax calculations;
• Preparation of financial statements and reports to the Board;
• Co-operation with financial institutions, tax authorities, auditors, clients other thirds parties

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience on the position of Chief Accountant;
• Experience in international company - preferably construction of manufacturing sector;
• Fluent command of English - essential;
• Professional experience gained in company with annual turn over exceeding 300 mln PLN;
• Master
