Smith+Nephew is hiring Senior Associate - OTC (Disputes) with Italian.

As an integral part of the finance operations team at Smith+Nephew, you'll play a crucial role in developing the Disputes Centre of Excellence. Your primary focus will be ensuring smooth and efficient resolution of disputes in accordance with our Delegated Authority Matrix and Group Finance Manual guidelines.

What you will be doing?

• Spearhead the timely resolution of customer disputes, acting as the go-to expert in our Disputes Centre of Excellence.
• Dive deep into the analysis of dispute root causes, proposing innovative solutions and coordinating fixes with various departments to ensure long-term resolution.
• Cultivate strong relationships with customers, actively seeking out ways to enhance satisfaction and communication while swiftly addressing any concerns.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Sales and Customer Service to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Take charge of documenting operational procedures and implementing process improvements to drive continuous enhancement.
• Keep a keen eye on compliance with policies and procedures, ensuring that quality checks are performed meticulously to maintain excellence in service delivery.

What will you need to be successful?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in order management, customer service, or collections within an international setting, with credit knowledge as a potential advantage.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Order to Cash (OTC) processes, financial controls, and reporting.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Proficiency in Excel at least at an intermediate level; familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
• Experience with tools such as GetPaid, EDI, and ESKER is beneficial.
• Competencies include fluency in both written and spoken English and Italian, exceptional communication skills, sound decision-making abilities, personal accountability, adeptness in high-pressure and fast-paced environments, and the capability to foster productive relationships across the business.
