If you have a flair for both number-crunching and robust written business-storytelling in order to explain complex financial issues in an understandable manner to business people, lawyers and lay parties, it seems that you should find out more about your future role in our fast-growing Forensic team.

You should have:

• 1-3 years of professional experience in finance/ accounting/ corporate finance etc.,
• Master’s degree in a finance-related discipline,
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills combined with the ability to prioritize tasks,
• Quick and accurate manipulation of data, including proficiency in MS Excel,
• Ease of expressing complex concepts in formal written documents,
• Ability to work and communicate effectively,
• Fluent command of spoken and written Polish and English.

It would be advantageous for you to have:

• Chartered accountant / ACCA / CFA / CFE certification completed or in progress,
• Data science skills, including the working knowledge of analytical tools (e.g. SQL, Python, R, STATA),
• Experience in business valuation and/or forensic investigations,
• Working knowledge of German and/or French.

As part of the multidisciplinary Forensic team you will participate in investigations ​​and dispute resolution projects supporting clients in crisis situations in Poland and abroad.

• Data mining/collection and data analysis, including financial and operational data,
• Analyzing financial and accounting statements, documents/data and accounting records,
• Developing damages models and calculating damages, including lost profits, diminution in value, increased costs,
• Preparation of expert reports,

The Forensic team services relate to financial crime, investigations and business disputes. We act both: retroactively - detecting and determining the actual course of events using analytical methods and computer forensics; and proactively – providing advisory services aimed at delivering solutions to prevent financial crime in the future.  In a business dispute area we work with organizations and their lawyers across a range of jurisdictions, offering them independent expertise or the insight on how they need to strengthen their case.
