Job Description
- Main responsibility will concentrate on business development with already existing and prospect accounts in the region.
- Uncovering the crucial needs and requirements of the customer, linking this to relevant solutions and products and, finally, closing deals.
- Establishing and building strong client relationships over time that allow for continuity and ongoing representation reinforced by sales support/delivery programs, and communications to other relevant organisational functions/divisions.
- Participating with other key account managers and sales management to develop sales strategies for national/global accounts and helping identify target accounts and opportunities within the framework of the organisation-wide strategy.
- Raising the profile of the company in the companion animal sector in the region, e.g. by organising customised marketing events for (potential) customers
- Monitoring competitive activity in each account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated
The Successful Applicant
- Education in biological science (animal nutrition, biochemistry or similar), preferably with companion animal specialisation.
- Fluent in English and Polish with any regional language as an added value.
- Proven track record in value selling in a B2B environment - animal nutrition.
- Experience in the pet food or human food ingredients industry.
- The job also requires the ability to deal with extended travel and absences from home.
