Guidewire Java Developer

 

Job Description:

  • Development, testing and maintenance of components built on the Guidewire platform

  • Analysis of business needs and creation of technical documentation

  • Cooperation with analysts and architects on refining the design assumptions

  • Responsibility for the implementation of entrusted project tasks

  • Willingness to solve problems that arise during project implementation

 

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in developing / configuration one of the Guidewire platform modules: Claim Center or Policy Center or Billing Center

  • Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, JMS, Web Services, Spring Framework, Hibernate

  • Knowledge of XML and related technologies

  • Knowledge of databases (Oracle, MySQL etc.) and  PL/SQL

  • Knowledge of tools for building and testing software

  • Ability to create and read technical documentation

  • Ability to think analytically and work in an Agile environment

  • Good work organization, independence and responsibility

  • Availability and mobility for implementing Guidewire projects in Poland and abroad (proportions to be determined)

  • Good knowledge of English on level enabling communication with clients and other members of the project team
