Job Description
- Being responsible for all tax compliance for assigned European entities
- Preparing VAT, Intrastat and EC Sales reports
- Monitoring accuracy of all VAT transactions
- Tax accounts reconciliation, processing of payments, performing VAT netting
- Close cooperation with local tax authorities
- Ensure correct tax reporting
- Actively participating in VAT audits, preparing Standard Audit Files
- Recommending and implementing tax process improvements as well as internal policies/procedures
- Overseeing the work of Tax Specialists and acting as a role model for them
The Successful Applicant
- Fluency in English is a must
- Preferably experience gained working in a Shared Service environment or Big4
- At least 3 years of experience within indirect tax area
- Familiar with ERP systems (preferably SAP) as well as good Excel skills
- Analytical skills
- Willingness to take initiative
- Ability to build good partnerships with all stakeholders
