Job Description
- Leading a team of General Ledger Accountants, coaching and mentoring,
 - Ensuring compliance with company policies, relevant accounting requirements, internal controls
 - Managing processes including General Ledger and Financial Reporting,
 - Ensuring timely and accurate processing of all GL transactions,
 - Providing technical support to team members as required,
 - Monitoring and developing teamwork through regular planning, communication and performance reviews (KPI/SLA),
 - Identifying, implementing improvements in the General Ledger process,
 - Closely cooperating with Internal clients, Other SSC Teams and support functions,
 - Supporting internal and external audits,
 - Creating an environment based on trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive teamwork.
 
The Successful Applicant
- FLUENT spoken & written English is a must,
 - Sound understanding of accounting principles is a must
 - Experience as a Team Leader min 2 years in financial business environment is a must
 - Sound people management skills
 - Good MS Excel skills
 - Ability to work to a high level of accuracy and consistency
 - Ability to work within tight operational deadlines and priorities
 - Analytical skills
