Job Description
- Receive, process, and confirm orders, claims, handle return orders and related invoicing
- Delivery planning and stock follow-up to control inventory levels and old stock to meet agreed targets
- Daily delivery follow-up to ensure that actions for transport arrangements have been completed and meet customer's delivery schedule
- Monitor credit limit, follow-up of overdue payments if needed (with the support and in coordination with Credit Management)
- Calculate and issue credit notes / rebates / bonuses to customers, eg. due to a bonus for exceeding the agreed sales level or early payment (cash discount)
- Daily contact with internal stakeholders in sales, production planning and logistics to ensure proper and proactive information exchange to meet our promise to customer
- Monitor the conduct of the orders, prepare reports requested by customers and / or superiors associated with order fulfilment process
The Successful Applicant
- Higher education with a degree in logistics, economics or management
- Minimum 1 - 2 year's experience in similar role in international customer service organisation, preferable in production company
- Advanced knowledge of German and English - a necessary condition
- Proven excellent problem solving and root cause identification and troubleshooting skills (Practical knowledge of LEAN methodology will be additionally beneficial)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while moving multiple simultaneous projects forward
- Flexible; stays calm and works well under pressure
