Job Description
Planning
- Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
- Develop financial and tax strategies
- Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
- Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
Operations
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
- Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
- Manage the accounting, human resources, legal, tax, and treasury issues
- Oversee the company's transaction processing systems
- Supporting decision process concerning establishing new projects
Financial Information
- Preparation of reporting packages for the shareholders,
- Report financial results to the board of directors
Risk Management
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
- Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry
- Construct and monitor reliable control systems
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
- Report risk issues to the board of directors
- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
Funding
- Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
- Arrange for financing of the projects
The Successful Applicant
- Total experience of min. 5 years including at least 2 years on similar position. Ideally experience in residential real estate company on position: Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Finance Director in smaller companies
- Real estate industry experience is a must, experience in financing (funding, cooperation with banks, loan agreements) is desirable,
- Strong accounting and financial reporting background
- Very good command of English
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point
- The candidate should be energetic, enthusiastic, proactive and reliable, self-starter, should be able to deliver tasks independently however based on information gathered by cooperation with other team members
- The candidate should have a degree in accounting or business administration, Open-minded. Hardworking.
