Our client is an international company with well-established presence in Poland. They plan to develop further in the months and years to come and are focusing on launching credit cards as a new product to support their customers. We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced risk professional with very good knowledge of credit card risk to lead the project through the design and implementation phase and then manage the credit card risk portfolio.

Job Description
  • Actively engage in the design of the framework and policies around the new product
  • Lead the development of scorecards that are used to make decisions and understand risk
  • Design credit limit and accept/decline tests
  • Co-design and implement anti-fraud and authorisation tools and policies
  • Actively monitor local and international regulations to meet all compliance guidelines
  • Manage the credit card portfolio once the product is launched
  • Liaise with various stakeholders across the firm during the project phase and after business as usual is achieved
  • Lead and inspire a team of professionals in the supervised area
The Successful Applicant
  • Educated up to University degree level
  • Minimum of 10 years overall professional experience including a minimum of 3 years in a senior managerial role covering credit card risk in a bank
  • Experience in working for an international organization is a must
  • Thorough knowledge of credit systems and processes in a credit card environment
  • Thorough knowledge of collections, debt recovery and fraud systems, processes, models and strategies
  • Thorough understanding of credit scoring and credit strategies - development, usage and monitoring
  • Proven track record of leading credit teams
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills
  • Proactive attitude to drive change
  • Fluency in English and Polish is a must
