For our Client, an international company, we are looking for candidates who want to be a part of a global organization for the position of
Responsibilities:
- responsible for the Inter-Company Accounting (report/review and solve IC mismatches),
- drive standardization across in the region and guards the integrity and quality of the delivered accounting in the specific accounting area,
- analyze Balance Sheet, P&L and variances,
- review and potentially adjust reports in HFM,
- focus on Balance Sheet and P&L for LEs (company codes),
- execute high-level review and answer specific expertise questions during the month and month-end closing,
- translates IFRS/webFEM policy to MIAC administration and Local GAAP,
- carrying out the changes in policies with reference to IFRS are reflected and embedded (training / SOP / policy / communications) in the processes,
- makes sure governance structure is applied; monitor adherence to internal control requirements,
- cooperation with Shared Services organization,
- contribute to projects e.g. SAP rollout, integration of legal entities,
- identify opportunities to improve and automate processes and controls and drive continuous improvement,
- accountable for monitoring the quality of the accounting output.
Requirements:
- Master degree in Economics or Accounting / Chartered Accountant,
- 5+ years of experiences in accounting with specific deep expertise in IFRS areas, and capable of analyzing complex processes and issues,
- excellent communication skills,
- ability to work under severe time pressure during month-end closures and continuously retain ‘an eye’ for the details,
- good understanding of the taxes, VAT, tax declarations, statistical reporting to the tax authorities etc.,
- good knowledge of accounting in ERP system SAP and consolidation systems preferably HFM, excellent knowledge in Excel,
- full professional proficiency in English and French or Italian or German.
