Job Description
- Product Management of Physical Security products
- Translate company objectives into segment objectives & actions
- Screen on a systematic basis the financial and commercial results, detect irregularities or opportunities, undertake actions + report on it
- Be an "Ambassador" of the product line you manage
- Follow the markets and main competitors from nearby
- Manages the Product Lifecycle Management process (PLM)
- Key interface to the Global Product Development department
- Manage multiple product lines to ensure customer goals and customer expectations are met
- Deliver training sessions and assist in the customer marketing
- Customer facing for new product introductions
- Complete basic tender and proposal documentation (specifications)
- Translate company objectives into product innovation actions in a roadmap
- Manage the full product creation process
- Steer the product range complexity and ensure range SKU standardization
- Follow-up evolution of cost prices + benchmarks
- Define sales prices of new products in cooperation with sales
- Evaluate and define actions in case of functional product complaints
- Support sales in daily operational questions
- Define content and organize for necessary installation tests in order to make up installation manuals
The Successful Applicant
- University degree. Master in mechanical engineering / MBA would be an asset
- Skilled with Windows Office and presentation techniques
- Experience with SKU rationalisation
- Good understanding of SAP / IFS would be an asset
- Experience in Security products lifecyle management - Access Control , Gates, Fences is a plus
- International mindset with experience in multi-lingual, multicultural systems is a must
- Excellent English both spoken and written, additional European languages are a strong plus
- Takes initiative - need to have an entrepreneurial mindset to define and develop the marketing group
- Good net-worker and communicator 2 year's experience in managing product lines is a must
- Player/coach leadership style
- Ability to work under time pressure and in resource lean environment
