Job Description
- Manage GL team members (including hiring, training, distribution of workload)
- Take accountability for effective back-up structure
- Ensure financial operations for region are delivered efficiently, on time, and with high quality
- Analyze, monitor, and action on KPIs to improve their values consistently
- Identify areas that will deliver the highest value to GL and company
- Participate in the project creation, definition and strategy
- Consistently cooperate and partner with Local Business Units in the GL Manager's region
- Cooperation with key stakeholders in the region
- Facilitate knowledge - sharing across teams/departments
- Ensure work policies & procedures are followed
- Ensure safe control environment/closure of action items from audits
The Successful Applicant
- University degree preferred - especially within Finance and Accounting
- English language knowledge required on a fluent level
- Other European language skills desired
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to organize workload
- Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative
- Excellent attention to detail
- Five years of best-practice experience in various financial/accounting positions. Desirable in finance & accounting gained in an international organization
