Job Description
- Technology transfer from Korean to Polish manufacturing site (high temperature processes such as: mixing, high temperature, gas treatment)
- "Translating" information from Korean to Polish manufacturing conditions (as part of global Process Technology Engineering team numbering 7 people worldwide)
- Strong cooperation with R&D
- Being a link between Process Research Team in Europe and the local Engineering Team
- Translate requests from R&D into a workable and up scalable process
- Assisting Engineering Project team and Operation team during projects (in terms of all process - related questions connected with process development, modifying, optimising) & commissioning
- Organisation & coordination of tests internally (or at external suppliers)
- Continuously scouting the market for new and better production equipment or processes
The Successful Applicant
- Technical Master degree (chemical or metallurgical engineering)
- Min. 5 years of experience in chemical or metallurgical engineering (high temperature processes connected for example with furnaces, ceramics; Automotive experience is highly preferred)
- Good understanding of heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid dynamic, process of emissions, CFD modelling
- Fluency in English
- Understanding of mass & heat transfer, chemical reactions, separation, process optimization
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and transfer process understanding
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (numerical and inductive ability)
- Ability to operate in a matrix structure in contact with different departments, very good communication skills
- People management, leadership skills would be an additional asset
