Job Description
- Close cooperation with business owners, Procurement and other teams
- Develop and implement strategies to meet business requirements
- Track performance of the organization's spend, supply market, costs, and tiers of suppliers
- Identify expense reduction/management opportunities
- Access new suppliers, reduce lead times, and guarantee supply
- Negotiate, create and execute contracts with suppliers
- Develop, issue and manage the process for bids/RFP process for products and services
- Develop and manage relationships with suppliers
- Create and monitor purchase orders in the Procurement system and all associated activities up to payment to the supplier
- Propose and run process improvements
The Successful Applicant
- Higher education in business, supply chain, finance or economics
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the procurement/strategic sourcing position
- Experience in category commodity management strategies including category assessment and development of detailed commodity strategy
- Experience developing bids and negotiation and administration of contracts
- Very good knowledge of procurement and supply chain management principles
- Proficiency in MS Suite
- Fluent English
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience in continuous improvement projects in procurement processes
