Job Description
- Lead and develop the Product Management Team through coaching, performance goal- setting, tracking and continuous guidance.
- Ensure the Product Team functions efficiently in a fast moving environment by having the correct resources focused on the right things
- Build a significant level of trust between stakeholders involved in all product decisions to allow the Product Team to efficiently complete their roles.
- Closely collaborate with senior business and IT stakeholders to understand and interpret strategy in terms of the Product landscape and ensure all Product Managers understand their products role in the overall strategy and vision.
- Ensure all products support the business strategy through their individual and combined vision without duplicity of functionality across the estate.
- Support the business in definition of new products and service offerings.
- Create and maintain a framework for managing incoming requirements, backlog prioritization and roadmap publication across all products.
- Provide guidance for the Product Management team to set the release cycle processes for their individual products.
- Ensure close collaboration with Architecture, Solution Delivery, and other functions to ensure a holistic approach to product development.
- Engage with senior business stakeholders to understand business and IT strategy, ensuring product strategy and roadmap mirrors and supports.
- Develop a high caliber team that all understand the part of strategy their products / work support
- Create and maintain a Product Management framework
- Ultimately, own all Product Roadmaps to ensure alignment between products and dependencies
- Facilitate the Business Design process through the Design Authority and maintain the design framework
- Provide a clear view of all technology product roadmaps to the entire business
The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of experience in a job in the Product/Business Analyst or Project Management area at a senior level
- Fluent English
- Proven leadership capability to build and lead a high performing team
- Strong communicator (verbal and written) ability to talk to different disciplines of stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Highly adaptable, strong prioritization and ability to work well under pressure meet deadlines
- Proven experience of the full Product lifecycle
