Consultant in Commodity Trading & Risk Management Team

 

We are seeking a Consultant to join our Commodity Trading & Risk Management team. We provide specialised advice to corporations and financial institutions active on commodity markets, including leading CEE companies of Energy, Oil & Gas and Industrial Manufacturing sectors. Our services include development and implementation of:

  • Trading & hedging strategies

  • Risk Management models and methodologies

  • Trading & Risk Management frameworks, processes and steering models

  • IT tools supporting Commodity Trading & Risk Management

 

Role

You will be part of dedicated team of experienced consultants. You will participate in all stages of project delivery, including workshops with clients and preparation of deliverables – tools, reports, presentations and datasets. Your clients will be located across EMEA region, with special focus on CEE and Ukraine.

 

Candidate’s profile

  • Experience with commodity (energy) markets (or strong interest),

  • Degree in finance, economics, statistics or other quantitative fields

  • Good understanding of financial risk management, commodity derivatives and oil, power & gas markets

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Fluent in English & Polish, other languages would be a plus

  • Proficient in quantitative analysis: MS Excel is a must, R / SQL / Python / SAS would be a plus

  • Understanding of MiFID II / EMIR / REMIT regulatory requirements would be a plus

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in individual, team and collaborative consultant-client settings

  • Strong commitment to personal and team success

  • Openness and willingness to share ideas and knowledge
