We invite you to join our PwC PMO team working within the Financial Crime Unit in Gdańsk and Warsaw. We are a constantly growing group of specialists who are passionate about Project Management. We support FCU strategy execution through setting up Portfolio, Programme and Project Management standards, sharing PM expertise and overseeing successful delivery of the whole portfolio. In parallel, we keep ourselves busy with providing professional services to other PwC teams (e.g. Public, Cyber, IT, FS) and developing our consulting offer in the area of PPM/PMO Managed Services.

In doing so, we closely cooperate with our Partners across the global PwC Network. Our international and diverse team is one of the largest ones of its kind in the world, including nationalities from distant parts of the globe like Peru, Argentina, China, Morocco, Mexico, Nigeria and Singapore. Although English is our official language in both everyday communication and project work, our colleagues speak 39 languages in total.

 

 

The Role:

  • Create go-to-market strategy, drive the development of PMO offering in the market

  • Build effective relationships with existing and prospective Clients

  • Independently lead and manage client engagements and internal initiatives, e.g. analyze complex ideas or proposals and provide a range of meaningful recommendations, engage a variety of stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions and perspectives, ensure the timeliness and quality of deliverables, identify opportunities to add value to our Client by promoting new ideas and services

  • Manage project or program changes (analyzing impact on the project or program, providing recommendations to project or program steering committees, implementing decisions, assuring proper communication regarding the change)

  • Actively contribute to go-to-market strategy and PMO offering in the market

  • Actively participate in the global PwC network, e.g. build a collaborative network with other PwC member firms in order to share knowledge and provide a truly global perspective for our Clients

  • Invest in the development of other PMO team members through mentoring and coaching, e.g. recognize others’ strengths and development areas, and help them to achieve their full potential in a positive and supportive environment

  • Be a role model for junior colleagues

  • Understand basics of Financial Crime (optional)

  • Potential travel time, depending on the engagement

 

Candidate's profile:

  • Overall 8+ experience in management of large scale projects/ senior PMO functions

  • Program management experience would be an asset

  • Interest in the financial services area

  • Experience in regulatory/AML remediation projects would be a plus

  • Knowledge of various project management methodologies and frameworks

  • (PMP®, PRINCE2® Practitioner, IPMA level B and above would be an asset)

  • Team player, enjoying working in a multicultural and international environment

  • Fluent in English; other languages considered as an asset

  • Willingness to travel is a must
