• University student of any faculty (Bachelor’s or Master’s studies) with availability to work 24 hours a week;

During your internship you will be engaged in the process of ‘initial checks’; it’s a procedure where the risk of cooperation with a given client is initially assessed. The procedure includes preparation of ownership structure, checking and verifying sanctions of relevant entities within the structure. Your main tasks will include searching and analyzing information from commercial registers, reports, financial statements, the Internet as well as internal Deloitte databases. Additionally, you will be responsible for the correctness of prepared data, gathering proper documentation for each case and obtaining approvals. You will be cooperating with other team members within the process as well as contacting other Deloitte offices in order to present the results of your findings.

Risk Operations Center (ROC) provides Client & Engagement Acceptance services for Deloitte practices across 19 countries in Central Europe:

• AML-KYC (“Anti-Money Laundering - Know Your Client”) procedures based on Deloitte policies and local countries’ law with regards to potential and existing clients including:
  • identification of ownership structure, background checks, verification of international sanctions;
• Analysis of the scope of services provided to the client (or to be provided to prospective client) and verification whether there is or might be any conflict of interest.

Risk Operations Center makes sure that projects delivered by our offices from 19 countries in Central Europe are consistent with internal policies and no conflict to provide services is identified.
