PwC Technology Workday Project Manager

Warszawa/Kraków/remote

 

Responsibilities: 

The PwC Technology Workday Project Manager leads and manages assigned PwC Technology projects in the Workday product area and across HC Talent services and applications. The Project Manager has overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution/implementation, monitoring, controlling and completion of the project.

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients and projects, while reporting to Senior Managers and Directors. This specific position reports into the Global People Technology Programme Delivery Lead and may also have accountability to Product Leads for assigned projects.

  • Lead and monitor the project team responsible for achieving the project objectives. Be the project point person and responsible for the day-to-day running of the project and the project team.

  • Be in charge of schedules, budgets, resources, scope, and deliverables for assigned projects. Lead and perform standard project management activities including project planning, coordination of project resources, risk management, issues management, scope management, project communications, and status reporting, 

  • Be involved in the financial management of clients and projects 

  • Be actively involved in and/or lead discovery activities to help identify, research and scope opportunities on new/existing clients and projects.

  • Assist in the management and delivery of large projects and programmes.

  • Collaborate and work closely with Product Leads, the business, other key stakeholders and IT team members throughout the lifecycle of the project.

  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen

  • Train, coach, and supervise staff and other resources assigned to the project team

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

 

Requirements:

  • Proven and extensive project management expertise, with demonstrated handle on project management tools and processes.

  • Prior experience in delivering complex technology projects in global deployment environments

  • Workday project delivery preferred, including product expertise with Workday HCM, Talent Management, Recruiting and Technical/Integrations

  • Strong facilitation and communication skills (oral and written)

  • Extreme ownership and follow-through, proactive with a strong sense of urgency (while calm under pressure)

  • Strong collaboration and extensive team management experience

  • Superior decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Discipline and personal organization, with keen attention to detail

  • Action-oriented; persistence to drive activities and open items to closure

  • Experience working with team members and stakeholders, including non-native English speakers, in other countries (global experience)

  • Flexibility with work schedules to allow for calls with territories around the globe and in other time zones
