Team overview

Tax Operations & Services, taking care of Tax Documentation and Reporting, Research on event taxability, Tax Withholding on US Corporate Events, Cost Basis Reporting and Calculation, Tax Reporting, Global Tax Compliance, Tax Certification and Regulatory reporting.

Your role

Manager ensures that the daily operational tasks and issues, related to regulatory tax data gathering and reporting, are executed accurately and timely. Understands the rules, process and specific procedures around the regulatory reporting, with the support of a legal and/or tax service expert. Deals indirectly with client questions on the regulatory rules, including replying to all types of technical questions. Tax operations manager will manage team of 10-15 tax specialists.

  • Must have tax/financial services experience minimum 7 years
  • Experience in managing people required min 2-3 years
  • Fluent English
  • Tax background preferred within financial services (WHT, Tax reclaims etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and be organized, due to the many regulations and spreadsheets to be updated and monitored
  • Ability to work both independently (full responsibility on validating documents, updating spreadsheets/systems, creating reports) and as part of a team (working with project management and Tax SME on new developments in the regulations)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge (to work with the many different spreadsheets that are used for tracking purposes)
  • Knowledge of Access is an asset
  • Reporting skills
  • Analytical skills with the ability to observe a process, identify inefficiencies and propose enhancements and alternatives to improve overall operations
  • Problems solving attitude
