The Global Delivery Centre in Wroclaw is a growing location, predominately providing support services to BNY Mellon entities in the areas of fund accounting and investment operations.

Department/Team overview

The Abandoned Property Unit provides abandoned/unclaimed property services and support to internal BNYM business areas for compliance with various jurisdictional rules, including SEC 17Ad-17, CASS & CAP.  

Your role

A successful candidate within this team is expected to:

  • possess a detail-oriented mindset;
  • carry an ability to analyze large & complex datasets to identify patterns that may point to a more systemic issue;
  • work proactively and independently, individually and together as part of a global team; leverage various technology and information solutions to meet objectives and improves processes;
  • perform all job duties successfully in a high-paced, multiple-priority environment; and be able to work extended hours during peak processing times or when priority projects arise.
  • Possesses strong communication skills, being capable of regular interaction with senior management across various business lines & key stakeholders in the second line of defence.
  • Experienced in leading projects including managing team members, assigning work and tracking progress.
  • Previous experience in CASS/CAP regulated environment preferable.

The candidate should have:
•   excellent oral and written communication skills, 
•   an ability to self-manage one’s own work, 
•   demonstrate organizational skills and a heightened sense of attention to detail, 
•   and be able to work on multiple projects at a given time.
