Do you have proven experience in privacy, confidentiality and general data protection? Are you an innovative and insightful thinker who likes solving complex business issues for global stakeholders? In this unique role, you will collaborate with your team, Office of General Counsel, Global Privacy and Confidentiality, Deloitte Firms, business unit leaders, and multiple stakeholders to provide a data protection assessment for services and technologies impacting multiple geographies. You will bring strategic, operational, and relationship management skills, as well as a keen understanding of the data privacy assessment process, to support the timely and accurate provision of assessment services.

You should have:

• At least three to five years in the field of data protection and/or enterprise technology architecture;
• Legal experience is advantageous although knowledge of GDPR and similar constructs is adequate – Knowledge of Data Protection regulations for at least one region is required (e.g. EMEA, Asia Pacific, Americas);
• Legal Degree (or proven experience in GDPR or similar) with Privacy/Compliance experience, Technology Degree, and/ or a related field (or equivalent);
• Compliance, Risk, Privacy, Client Confidentiality, Audit, Investigative, Legal and/or Technology experience;
• International Association of Privacy Professionals Certification (CIPP-E, CIPT, CIPM, etc.);
• Security Certification such as CISSP, CCSP or equivalent is advantageous;
• English fluency required.

In this unique and interesting role, you will provide specialized support and guidance for CoRe’s Data Protection Assessment Services (DPAS) by:

• Serving as a subject matter expert in technology, data protection, confidentiality, and data residency;
• Manage a portfolio of assessment engagements while juggling competing demands and strict deadlines;
• Review/analyze globally deployed services and technologies and document findings in a neutral manner;
• Monitor the industry wide landscape for regulatory changes surrounding data privacy, data protection, data confidentiality, data classification, and data residency.
