The R&D HCP/HCO Monitoring and Reporting Team is responsible for the data collection, tracking, monitoring, and reporting of payments and other transfers of value to Healthcare Professionals (HCP) and Healthcare Organizations (HCOs).

 

The processes currently in place helps ensure that GSK can comply with all US Transparency, State, EFPIA, ROW reporting and internal requirements and are in alignment with GSK's values and expectations.

 

In this position you will be responsible for a financial compliance reporting, a transparency reporting and reviewing invoices on a general ledger regarding the Healthcare Professionals (HCP) and Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) standards.

Your responsibilities:

Reporting to the HCP Payment Monitoring and Disclosure Senior Analyst, the purpose of the role is to:

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies/processes and external regulations of contracts with and payments to external experts, healthcare professionals and healthcare related organizations, for R&D, Biological and other GSK entities. This includes but is not limited to monitoring compliance of transactions with requirements related to:

    • State Reporting

    • Spend Cap

    • Public disclosures

    • Account/Cost center coding

    • Contracting terms

    • Management and statutory reporting

    • Fair Market Value

    • Other compliance related requirements

      • Provide internal and external customer support as needed to facilitate the conduct of business.

      • Interact with other areas within and outside GSK (Shared Financial Service, US Pharma, Biologicals, IT, Legal, external intermediaries such as CROs or Event Management Companies,) in support of business transactions.

      • Maintain database of EE/HCP payments and supplemental information to meet all state reporting, regulatory and management reporting requirements.

      • Escalate non-compliance issues according to GSK policies and SOPs.

      • Identify, recommend and assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives designed to simplify processes in support of contracting, payment and reporting of work with external experts and healthcare related organizations.

      • Preparing financial compliance reporting, a transparency reporting and reviewing invoices on a general ledger regarding the Healthcare Professionals (HCP) and Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) standards.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Finance degree or degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, or applied science required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience of relevant analytics experience

  • Strong computer skills and a solid working knowledge of General Ledger applications (CERPS,…) and software applications designed for data analysis and reporting.

  • Previous experience with accounts payable payment processes or finance/accounting qualifications highly recommended.

  • Demonstrated skills in the area of process improvement and design.

  • General understand of accounting principle/transaction is required to properly trace GL transaction and supporting detail to evaluate HCP/HCO reporting requirements.

  • Required to demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of general ledger transaction process and the applicable HCP/HCO reporting requirements

  • Prior experience with Pharma industry, SAP (CERPS) and database skills preferred

  • Fluent English (minimum C1)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid written and oral communications skills required.

  • Process and detail oriented.

  • Excellent customer service skills to allow for interaction with various levels of staff internally and externally with minimal management oversight.

  • Problem-solving person who is comfortable in the area of process improvement.
