We are looking for Cloud systems engineer for our Toolchain team, ready to „WOW” the world by expertise, passion and pride to be green. The Toolchain team is providing integrated toolchains for Product and Project teams around the globe, enabling a more efficient delivery of the full lifecycle of application development. The team follows an agile way of working and acts as a DevOps team. All team members are T-shaped which guarantees a varied range of work. The main responsibility of the Cloud systems engineer is to ensure maintenance of our on-premise and cloud hosting environments which are managed by our partners. This includes upgrades of existing systems such as RevTrac, SAP EnableNow, Solution Manager, Jira, Confluence, Redwood and more. Also you will have the chance to work on incorporating infra-as-code into our state of the art and highly automated self-service platform through which we offer our DevOps tooling to the rest of the HEINEKEN organization. You will collaborate with the Product Owner, Product Team and stakeholders to further develop as well as support and maintain this platform.

Your responsibilities would include:
  • working as part of a team that provides DevOps tooling to all HEINEKEN development teams world wide
  • maintaining and developing the DevOps Toolchain and it’s provisioning platform
  • working with our partners to ensure proper maintenance of our on-premise and cloud hosting environments
  • furthering the DevOps agenda for our ERP teams including SAP, Navision and JDE technologies
  • enabling ERP teams and all other development teams to increase their efficiency and decrease their time-to-market using tools such as Azure DevOps, RevTrac, Splunk, New Relic, Redwood and others.
  • providing maintenance and support for the existing users of our platform and the mentioned tools
  • adding an infra-as-code layer to our Toolchain
  • supporting the Product Owner and team in gathering and translating functional stakeholder requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with the Product Owner and/or team mates
  • advising in technical feasibility and coming up with the best technical solution alternatives to business requirements
  • acting as subject matter expert in the solutions we offer to our users

You are a good Candidate if:
  • you have experience working with, maintaining and supporting technologies used in the ERP technology area such as RevTrac, Redwood, SAP EnableNow and Solution Manager
  • you have knowledge of both on premise hosting environments and Azure administration including maintenance of ARM templates and the ambition to coordinate with vendors who execute the changes
  • you have experience working with infra-as-code technologies such as Terraform
  • you have extensive knowledge of and experience with PowerShell
  • you are not limited to your own area of expertise, and you have affinity to develop new technical and non-technical skills
  • you have a production-first mindset, and you are eager to work in a DevOps team with end-to-end responsibility
  • you have excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing): ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people. Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
  • you are analytically and quantitatively strong, highly structured
  • you are a team player and you are able to work effectively at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
  • you have a Bachelor/Master’s degree, preferably in the field of (Business) IT
  • you have excellent written and verbal English

Nice to have:

  • experience working with tools such as New Relic and Splunk in an ERP context
  • experience or familiarity with with the agile ways of working as described in SCRUM
  • experience with DevOps tooling like for example Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, Zephyr, Tosca and BrowserStack
