Senior / Lead UX Designer

Job Description & Summary

You will join the team of our design, business intelligence, data science and product development experts who are responsible for the cutting edge digital solutions PwC is creating for its clients. Being part of our project teams across multiple sectors and geographies, you will design analytic products and applications that help our clients capture the value from the rapidly evolving technology and the vast amounts of data we are surrounded by in today’s world. 
 

Senior / Lead UX Designer
 

Candidate’s profile: 

• At least 3 years of professional experience in product design or UX design for the Senior role and 5 years for the Lead role;

• Experience defining and creating user stories, user personas, user journey diagrams and information architecture;

• Proven track record developing prototypes and high fidelity wireframes (ideally backed up by a portfolio), coupled with proficiency in at least one of the leading design programs (Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Axure etc.);

• Experience conducting user research, including design workshops, stakeholder interviews or other live requirements gathering sessions of a similar nature;

• Experience closely working with dev teams (front-end / back-end developers, solution architects, etc.);

• A solid grasp of data visualization best practices; 

• Exceptional care for detail, clarity and aesthetics;

• Excellent command of English essential to working on international engagements;

• Exceptional communication skills required for day to day coordination with people of diverse backgrounds.

Additional assets:

• Experience working in a consulting firm or similar client-facing environment;

• Hands on experience designing business applications and data analytics driven products;

• Hands on experience or prior exposure to Business Intelligence software (Tableau, Power BI);

• A solid grasp of interaction and motion design trends and best practices;

• Experience in usability testing and quantitative UX research methods;

• A ‘growth mindset’ sought after in a fast-moving, digital technologies space; 

• Awareness of or knowledge of front-end programming basics (HTML, React, JavaScript).
