Our Data Intelligence and Analysis - Practice Support team provides PwC a series of organisational technology capabilities that include business intelligence, data management, data warehouse, and data assurance. You’ll help with projects that involve information technology strategy and infrastructure, enterprise architecture, enterprise applications, large scale programme and portfolio management, information technology security, data analytics, computer forensics, and emerging technologies like cloud, mobility and social networking.

Business Operating Solutions Platform Management (BPM) team

PwC’s Business Operating Solutions Platform Management (BPM) team are developing solutions and processes to make it easier for our practitioners across the network to do business at PwC. As such we are looking for enthusiastic candidates that are looking to advance their career in client engagement and program management in Data Transformation Projects at network wide scales through BPM deployment of ERP systems and more.

 

The Data Transformation Program Managers will:

  • Support the program management, client engagement, stakeholder management, change management of Data Transformation activities within ERP, Salesforce, Workday and Risk and Independence  Deployments in the various territories.

  • Prepare the territory for a holistic implementation of a Data Transformation program.

  • Lead the implementation of  Data Transformation program for Oracle, S4, Workday, Risk-Indepence and other BOS services

 

The Role

  • Operating as the global BPM and EM/FI point of contact accountable to territory for delivery of end to end BPM EM/FI solution (scope, decision items, deployment team structure, transformation workshops, cutover/BAU transition plans);
  • Driving the territory deployment from initial diagnostic, process scoping and alignment sessions through implementation across multiple tracks as defined in the BPM EM/FI Roadmap;

  • Driving senior stakeholder engagement (governance, issue management, escalation, design deviations, etc.) via regular updates to the global teams and territory leadership;

  • Driving alignment of multiple track milestones and change/communication initiatives to deliver a seamless experience for the territory, whilst managing risks and dependencies with all global teams (BPM track teams, testing COE, CI, IT SSC etc.); 

  • Working with the territory leads to establish outputs that are end user focused in the main while at the same time meet territory regulatory requirements;

  • Demonstrating product capabilities related  to stakeholders, territories, and end users;

  • Working with functional and technical groups to identify improvements in Firm-wide data-related business processes, scope requirements, and impacts related to system and/or process changes;

  • Participating with business sponsors and other functions within the organization regularly;

  • Creating internal partnerships with key stakeholders; and,

  • Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation.

 

Preferred Knowledge/ Skills: 

Business/Data transformation and/or system implementation project experience within the professional services industry working across lines of business within territory or at the multi-territory/regional/global level.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the delivery of business solutions using agile methods and both onshore and offshore providers including:

  • Demonstrating the ability to working collaboratively in a dynamic environment and manage competing priorities, concurrent projects and associated deliverables;

  • Leading project teams to oversee program and workstream project planning and be a single point of escalation to senior stakeholders for updates, RAID management and possible roadblocks to execution;

  • Being a self-starter, with proven organizational skills and attention to detail;

  • Driving the discovery of creative solutions sometimes requiring highly-tailored approaches, while maintaining standards and minimizing risk to the firm;

  • Outstanding communication skill with the ability to communicate at every level up to senior leadership;

  • Understanding and leveraging Project Management tools where appropriate;

  • Managing vendor resources (onshore and offshore) including obligations established in Service Level Agreements and risk management/escalation;

  • Delivering presentations and updates to inform and influence leadership, stakeholders, committees; and,

  • Managing SOW deliverables and reporting project costs and forecasts on a regularly scheduled basis to project leadership and making recommendations to improve project effectiveness.

 

Job Requirements and Preferences:

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED

Minimum Years of Experience:

6 year(s) of progressive roles managing business transformation and/or IT project management and strategy development with an emphasis on Client Engagement, Business Transformation, Data Transformation, Change management and Marketing and  Public Relations.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree Preferred:Bachelor Degree

Preferred Fields of Study or Experience in one or more fields:Experience in  Program Management in Data Transformation projects with an emphasis of reporting and analytics for the following fields: Finance, Economics, Human Resources, Risk and Independence,Marketing, Change Management, Business Management, Business Administration,  Computer Science or Engineering

Certification(s) Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP)
