For our Client, for the new GBS from the medical sector based in Warsaw, we are looking for Senior Payroll Specialists with different languages.
Senior Payroll Specialist , 100% remote
Responsibilities:
- process payroll for assigned entities on a monthly basis for all employees in the respective country,
- ensures timely and accurate updates to salaries, incentives, bonuses, commissions, RSU, Options, ESPP, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions as well as new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rate,
- processing, reporting and reconciliations of pension transactions,
- ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll including off-cycle payrolls,
- validates and audits payroll data, calculations and reports to ensure completeness and accuracy,
- responds to questions from team members regarding pay statements, direct deposits, tax deductions, and/or general payroll questions respecting privacy and confidentiality of information,
- prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions,
- supports Time & Attendance by validating data and assisting managers and team members,
- maintains Time & Attendance system, holiday calendars, work schedules, vacation accruals and carry-overs,
- provides support and trainings to team members related to Time & Attendance systems,
- performs tax-related tasks and supports annual processes,
- performs Gross-to-Net and other payroll related account reconciliations,
- close collaboration with local authorities related to reporting and filing of declarations, certifications etc.,
- ensures adherence to Processes, Finance and Compliance policies and internal controls,
- close collaboration with external Payroll Processor, Human Resources, Benefits, Finance and IT Teams,
- supports internal and external audits,
- participates in projects, continuous process improvements, system implementations and performs other duties are required.
Requirements:
- minimum 3 years in a payroll related function,
- strong knowledge of payroll processing and related activities,
- fluency in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian or Dutch (min.B2),
- B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field of study,
- initiative, self-starter and process-driven with high level of attention to details,
- good organization and problem solving skills,
- good communication skills (oral and written), interpersonal and collaboration skills,
- solid knowledge of payroll related labor and tax laws for the respective country,
- good working skills with Microsoft products (Excel, Word) and systems required,
- working experience with ADP Celergo or GlobalView and EeTime is an advantage.
