Required professional background and skills:
- After or during gaining the university degree in Actuarial Science, Quantitative Finance / Mathematics, Economics or related
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Basic actuarial knowledge (life and/or non-life insurance, financial mathematics)
- Very good skills in MS Office (with VBA), with emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Creativity and analytical thinking to solve complex problems
- Team player with a flexible working style
We consider as an advantage:
- Professional experience in actuarial modelling (Prophet, RAFM, in-house solutions)
- Experience in working with datasets using different tools (SQL, Access, Excel)
- Passed actuarial exams or in the process of taking actuarial exams
- Experience in one or more of statistical models or machine learning methods
- Programming skills (VBA, R, Python) as well as exposure to actuarial software (Earnix, Addactis etc.)
- Knowledge of German or French
Your future role:
Our growing actuarial team is looking for new colleagues to join either the Deloitte Actuarial Modelling Centre (AMC) or Deloitte Research and Development (R&D) teams who will (depending on the assigned team):
- Support Deloitte’s colleagues with their day-to-day work
- Actively contribute to a development of new analytical team within actuarial practice
- Take part in a preparation of marketing materials and proposals
- Develop insurance models in R, Python or other software
- Write reports and prepare presentations
- Work with other Deloitte’s colleagues from Polish as well as international offices
- Support the development of actuarial models and process automation tools
- Work with clients, including dealing with queries and attending meetings
