You’ll help PwC understand, plan for, and realize strategic business opportunities in information technology.

Exchange Engineer
As an Exchange engineer, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success within a professional business services environment, including the following areas:

Demonstrating in-depth understanding of Microsoft Exchange Online and on-premise (2016/2019) – including in an Exchange in a hybrid scenario;
-
Demonstrating In-depth knowledge of various features and configurations available in Exchange 2016/2019/Online including (but not limited to) high availability (DAG), messaging policies and compliance, retention and holds, configuring reporting and logging, permissions and role based access control (RBAC) and custom Azure/O365 roles and scopes, transport rules, connectors;

Administering Exchange systems, infrastructure operations, service management principles, Office 365 Administration, Windows server administration;
-
Understanding and work experience related to email hygiene – including anti-spam, encryption, and anti-virus applications and products like proof point and Exchange online protection;
-
Writing and using windows PowerShell scripting – specifically using Exchange and Azure AD commandlets;
-
Understanding of DNS, e-mail routing, email tracking, SMTP / application mail relay, disaster recovery concepts, backup and restore - single item, single mailbox, Exchange Server, Exchange Site, etc.;
-
Understanding and mitigating the impact of technical design to security, performance and data privacy;
-
Understanding of Exchange 2016/2019/Online design, deployment, administration, and management and related monitoring and management systems;
-
Understanding of enterprise technologies, authentication, and authorization schemes (Active Directory, Azure AD, ADFS);
-
Understanding of how to take business plan requirements and translate into Exchange design and deployment;
-
Demonstrating thorough understanding of current email technologies and protocols;
-
Understanding of Office 365 administration and configuration – specifically Exchange, M365, and Security and Compliance Admin Centers; and,
-
Understanding of data center design and architecture – specifically related to design and deployment of Exchange 2016/2019 hybrid scenario - with features like high availability, disaster recovery planning, load balancers, storage, and virtualization from various vendors (Vmware, Microsoft, etc.).

Communicating effectively at different levels within and outside the organization, leadership/management, business stakeholders, software vendors and sourcing suppliers; and,

Providing thought leadership on use of specific application technology for innovation and/or cost reduction.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma
Minimum Years of Experience: 4 year(s) of progressive roles managing IT infrastructure standards and transformation.
