Job Details:

Seasoned professional responsible for developing eLearning courseware for learning and performance programs. This role is key to supporting skills development aligned to business objectives and strategies.

Collaborates with senior Learning and Performance team (or business groups) to provide input on approaches/methodologies for program design and administration. Consults with and advises internal clients to promote quality and consistency of program design, implementation, and administration.

Conducts analysis on program effectiveness, reporting to department leaders on results. Provides input on documentation of programs, curriculum, and outcome objectives, provides oversight and guidance to less experienced staff on learning assessment methodologies and delivery techniques. Serves as a technical resource in cross-functional learning program development initiatives. May liaise with a vendor or third-party partner delivering compliance, technical skills or technology-related technology or services, ensuring quality service and delivery. Participates in special projects related to new or existing business objectives requiring learning program development by providing direction for program design or delivery approach.

May provide program guidance to peers or less experienced employees but there are no direct reports in this role.

Creates e-learning courseware, including animations, blended learning modules, and software application training videos. Creates job aids and presentations. Designs, edits, and embeds graphic artwork and video assets.
Researches and recommends e-learning products and technology as needed
Collaborates with Department Subject Matter Experts and Instructional Designer on e-learning content development and training delivery methods.
Partners with the Learning Management System (LMS) Enterprise administrator to upload and test content and troubleshoot issues.

Skills:

  • Technical skills including: Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint or similar software are required
  • Ability to build organizational partnerships through collaboration
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills required
  • Strong troubleshooting skills required
  • Strong written communication skills required with ability to write for different audiences
  • Knowledge of the principles of adult education and the ADDIE and the SAM Instructional System Design Models preferred
  • Graphic design skills preferred
  • Presentation skills preferred

Requirements:
Preferred 5-7 years of total work experience in a similar role. Prior experience in Learning and Development, with a focus on developing risk or compliance training preferred.
