What We Do in the area of Data Management:

We help our clients reimagine their data capability through governance and change their organizational mindset. We enhance this capability by developing data frameworks, building the strategy, optimizing infrastructure, processes and systems, and creating the culture. In joining, you'll focus on execution of various data strategies. You will assist clients in choosing a platform, defining their data needs and migrating them to a modern data environment using various providers such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Snowflake, Databricks or Teradata.

 

Role:

  • Designing and developing data migration plans, roadmap, roles and responsibilities, success metrics;

  • Working with client stakeholders, both business and technical, to capture and document Data Migration and Data Integration requirements, creating data mapping and technical specifications, designing integration patterns and data migration processes;

  • Outlining data architecture and data integration patterns, data element naming conventions, data quality processes and KPIs, metadata management;

  • Applying leading practices in supporting high availability, scalable, process and storage intensive solutions architectures to data integration/migration;

  • Designing and developing data migration technology solutions that span data quality, data dictionary & business glossaries, data standards and policies; data lineage and catalogs, cloud data platforms;

  • Designing and developing modern data warehouse solutions using data modeling techniques such as file based, normalized or denormalized, star schemas, schema on read, Vault data model, and graphs for mixed workloads, such as OLTP, OLAP, streaming using any formats (structured, semi-structured, unstructured);

  • Working on internal initiatives developing new value propositions for our clients;

  • Coaching junior staff.
     

 

Candidate's profile:

  • 4-5 years of work experience in working with large Data Platform, Data migration or Enterprise Information Management programs (on-premise and on-cloud) including min 2-year experience in strategy through execution projects (any role);

  • Understanding of data models and table structure of business applications such as Salesforce/SAP/Microsoft Dynamics/Oracle ERP;

  • Understanding or knowledge in SQL, report generation using visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI in order to develop and conduct actual data quality checks (tool based, analytical manual);

  • Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with ability to summarize complex issues / data sets to be able to share effectively targeted management information;

  • Excellent verbal and written business communication skills (e.g.  the good abilities to prepare management presentations);

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives with defined timelines and keeping key senior stakeholders and technology as well as operations partners appropriately updated;

  • Very strong organizational skills. Innovative, entrepreneurial and eager to learn;

  • Understanding of enterprise data concepts such as Master Data Management and Enterprise Data Warehouse;

  • Having familiarity with one or more Data Integration tools is a big plus - SnapLogic, Mulesoft, Databricks, AWS Kinesis & Glue, Azure Data Factory, Informatica Cloud, etc.
