Department/Team overview

The Accounting Services Business Resiliency team is responsible for conducting oversight of and providing assistance to the Accounting Services organization’s business resiliency and business continuity efforts globally.

Working hours – Monday through Friday, 8:00 /9:00 am to 4:00/5:00 pm.

Your role

Business Resiliency Coordinator (RC) to join our team in Wroclaw. As Business Resiliency Coordinator, you will become part of the Accounting Services (AS) Business Resiliency team and will be primarily responsible for overseeing Accounting Services’ Business Continuity plans, acting in a regional lead role.  The RC is responsible for communicating, managing and facilitating the actions and recovery strategies captured in the Business Continuity Plans.  The RC also provides leadership and support to the AS Resiliency Administrators (RAs) and Operations teams around the understanding and execution of all Business Continuity Lifecycle requirements, while identifying risks and instituting risk mitigating solutions in conjunction with the RAs and Operations management.

As a successful candidate you will be given opportunity to acquire and develop knowledge from various Accounting Services Operations functions and the BNY Mellon Enterprise Resiliency Office:

  • By supporting the Accounting Services Resiliency Administrators (RAs) and Operations teams around the understanding and execution of all Business Continuity Lifecycle requirements as outlined in the ERO (Enterprise Resiliency Office) policy and standards documentation, you will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of the various functional activities performed across the business.
  • Working closely with the Accounting Services Business Resiliency team and designated contacts in the ERO, you will gain exposure to and knowledge of the requirements of the Business Resiliency and Business Continuity policies and procedures of BNY Mellon.
  • By overseeing all aspects of Business Continuity for the business, you will gain a thorough understanding of the components of a robust Business Continuity environment.  You will also have the opportunity to participate in and coordinate the recovery efforts around actual business disruption events in a “live” operating environment.


  • Excellent organisation, teamwork & leadership skills with the ability to influence management and staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Well-developed analytical, planning and time management skills.  Proactive and focused attitude with the ability to perform and succeed under pressure, consistently meeting deliverables.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.  Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • A keen attention to detail, with the ability to manage and bring issues to conclusion.
  • Demonstrated experience and track record of managing projects and driving teams to deliver successful outcomes across multiple disciplines and business functions.  Relevant experience in financial services, with a focus in the investment funds industry preferred.  6-8 years of total work experience.
  • Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Advanced proficiency in using MS Office and other relevant BNYM business systems preferred.
