Operations and Project Analyst (Growth Operations)

In this role you will be working within the newly established Growth Operations function to improve and scale our operational and reporting best practices, and, by doing so, boost our organic growth and enable our Client-facing Colleagues to spend more time with our Clients.

 

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside the Chief of Staff to engage with the Growth Operations Leadership team to engage with stakeholders, understand their priorities and refine the Growth Ops vision accordingly.
  • Articulate Aon growth vision to other stakeholders and communities
  • Engage with Aon Change Leaders to plan, aggregate and deploy change management plans
  • Provide dedicated project management support to Growth Ops leaders by joining the working team, managing the project plan and owning deliverables
  • Close coordination with Aon HR to manage global hiring requests, predict future needs and manage associated resourcing needs on behalf of the Growth Leadership team
  • Close coordination with Aon Finance to plan, track and manage our cost base, budget forecasting and future planning
  • Develop the Growth Operations talent development and succession plans
  • Produce quarterly KPI reporting to ensure they are accurate, proportionate and reflective of Growth ops impact
  • Produce KPIs reporting relating to accuracy and utilization
  • Milestone reporting and ad hoc leadership update requests
  • Communicates effectively with internal partners for analysis/ resolution of complex issues or project impacts.
  • Actively seeks additional knowledge of department, tools and systems
  • Works well with others and consistently performs to the best of ability

What the day will look like

How this opportunity is different

As a member of a small, local team, you will be working closely with the Chief of Staff and Senior Growth Leaders to design, deploy and deliver project and change management. In this role you will be exposed to stakeholders across all solution, product and business lines and get a very unique insight into the inner works of Aon business.

 

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Passionate self-starter who can juggle multiple projects, follow-ups and ultimately deliver projects and assignments on target and on time within a fast-paced environment
  • A commercial mindset - able to understand the Aon’s commercial goals and how team’s contribution enhances Aon revenue growth
  • Proven ability to work closely with other colleagues, cultures, accepting new ideas and working with others to innovate in real time
  • Willing to work flexibly and across time zones in order to build relationships and participate in virtual teams
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and relationship building skills
  • A strong academic background to Bachelor level or higher
  • Experience or through understanding of project and program management including planning, reporting and impact tracking
  • Understanding of change management and communications
  • Experience with CRM systems an asset
  • Financial reporting an asset
  • Experience of working within complex operating model or working with commercial/finance leaders across regions, solutions and functions will be valuable.
