For our Client, an international production, multi-stream company, we are looking for a Chief Accountant responsible for a plant in Italy. The company's headquarters is in Krakow (remote work is possible).

Responsibilities:
- support local statutory & compliance including VAT returns, payroll, tax returns and other local submissions,
- ensure accurate and timely financial reporting under group IFRS standards,
- direct contact with business located in Italy,
- cooperation with SSC structures and regional entities,
- provides input to judgment journals required during the period-end process,
- ensure period end processes are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Chief Accountant or 10+ years of experience in the RTR/GL environment,
- excellent knowledge of legal & regulatory requirements,
- experience in the manufacturing company would be a plus,
- ability to work to tight time scales, manage multiple task whilst maintain a high level of accuracy,
- fluent English (C1) is essential,
- fluent knowledge Italian is a great advantage,
- supporting decisions and influencing business counterparts.
