Invoice to Cash Supervisor

Profile Summary

This position will play a key role within the Invoice to Cash (I2C) Front Office or Back Office team, combining both people management responsibilities together with some operational tasks for assigned region. The person in this role is responsible for leading the team of analysts, perform assigned tasks and act as first point of escalation. This role requires demonstrable ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder management relationships with local teams (Finance, Commercial, Customer Service, Pricing etc.).

What you will do

  • Development and management of the team, ensuring the team deliver against business needs and environmental change.
  • Set and communicate clear strategy and direction to the team, including performance objectives and development.
  • Lead the development and implementation of existing and new financial business processes that drive greater service excellence and cost efficiencies
  • Actively review end to end business processes, irrespective of ownership, to address root cause problems that create business inefficiencies 
  • Present regular Account Receivables updates to stakeholders
  • Embed and maintain a data driven culture by efficient and effective use of data within the team, taking ownership of dashboards and reports to provide insight and analysis that drive business performance.
  • Responsible for best-in-class DSO and other AR metrics and KPIs within the team and implement dynamic and effective credit risk strategies that optimise cash collection and minimise bad debt risk 
  • Appropriate management of our customers credit limits together with Credit team
  • Partner with other functions (Sales, Customer Service, Pricing) to provide AR updates and work as one team on cash collection and dispute resolution.

What you need

  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Experience on collections related systems (SAP, Oracle, Credit Management tools or others)
  • Between 4 – 6 years of I2C/AR experience (prior people management experience an advantage, but not required)
  • Ability to actively engage stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure processes are executed consistently.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
