Central and Eastern Europe Regional Finance team, an internal department of PwC working under the Board of Directors of the region consisting of 29 countries, and responsible for providing financial reporting, accounting compliance, controlling as well as budgeting and planning activities, is seeking for an experienced Power BI developer with strong technical skills and proficiency in analysing the financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualisations meeting business requirements and effectively communicate data-driven insights.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data requirements, translating them into effective Power BI solutions.

• Perform data analysis to ensure accurate and efficient data visualisation.

• Identify and troubleshoot issues, ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of Power BI solutions.

• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends, and incorporate them into development processes.

• Drive the effectiveness of reporting processes.

• Monitor and interpret key financial metrics.

• Collaborate with other departments including HC, Marketing and IT to support the reporting requirements and initiatives.

• Close cooperation with controllers and analysts in the team.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Data analysis, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information systems or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in developing interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Strong Excel skills.

• Proficiency in data modelling, data analysis, and creating complex DAX calculations.

• Solid understanding of data visualisation principles and best practices.

• Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading.

• Experience with data analytics tools, data warehouses, financial management (e.g., ERP) and accounting systems.

• Experience with developing databases structures and data sets utilised by Power BI is of additional value

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with an attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Fluent English.
