For our Client, an international retail company with worldwide reach, we are looking for a person for the position of Finance & Accounting Manager for the DACH region (Germany and Austria). The company's headquarters is in Krakow (possibility of fully remote work).

Responsibilities:
- supervision over financial and accounting processes in the DACH region,
- preparation of yearly statutory Financial Statements according to local GAAP,
- cooperation with auditors and external partners,
- monitoring of working capital and budget preparation,
- reporting to the EMEA Headquarter and the Group on Monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow results prepared in accordance with IFRS,
- providing meaningful Monthly Business reporting and analysis,
- coordinating the commercial CAPEX spending and monitoring OPEX - advising on corrective actions,
- supervising the issuance and posting of invoices, corrections, and contact with external parties.
Requirements:
- +5 years of expertise in the general ledger and accounting issues, preferably as a Chief Accountant or Accounting Manager,
- knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and International Financial Reporting Standards,
- expertise in German Accounting Regulations (HGB) would be a plus,
- proficiency in Direct and Indirect Taxes,
- ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections,
- experience working in SSC/GBS environment would be an asset,
- fluent German C1 and good command of English B2 – is essential,
- team management skills.
