Senior Controlling and Planning Specialist (Pricing and Rebates)

In this position, you will aid the organization by compiling and analyzing metrics for performance versus budgets and forecasts, while identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups, and recommending actions to improve financial performance. Reporting to the Controlling & Planning Team Leader you will provide reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budget, and forecasts in order to assist business leaders and stakeholders, helping to evaluate the impact of major decisions.

Your responsibilities

• Partnering directly with the Finance Controllers, Sales Managers and Pricing Team
• Being responsible for end-to end rebates process- Budgeting, Reporting, Accruals, Payments, Analytics
• Providing rebates scorecards with various scenario analysis & simulations in terms of rebates contract changes and customer performance
• Providing related Plans, Forecast, QMI Reporting for the whole rebate portfolio: Volume Incentive Discounts, Merchandising Found, Retails Rebates, Cash Discounts, Special Price Agreements, Sales returns
• Executing reconciliations of the whole rebates portfolio as well as being actively involved in internal and external audit process
• Vistex & others systems maintenance and development
• Leveraging various reporting, database, models, tools to report financials in accurate and timely manners
• Operating effectively in project environment
• Optimizing own performance to increase productivity, recommending changes of process standards and procedures, identifying areas for process or report

Your background

• Bachelor Degree in Finance and Accounting or Business administration
• At least 5 years of experience in financial and accounting roles, with preference on finance analyses; pricing and rebates knowledge will be an advantage
• Proven analytical ability, effective problem identification and solution skills
• Great communication, being able to communicate efficiently at various levels of organizational hierarchy
• High sense of ownership and can-do attitude
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and confidence in information produced
• Ability to work well under pressure (meeting deadlines with highest quality)
• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
• Advanced Excel, SAP knowledge (SAP Torque) and Power BI
• Fluency in English - written and spoken
