For our Client, an international company providing logistics services, we are looking for candidates for the position of Sustainability Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • developing and implementing sustainability strategies and goals to minimize environmental impact and enhance social responsibility,
  • establish and maintain quality standards for logistics processes, products, and services. Ensure that these standards align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements,
  • monitor and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality management systems (e.g., IFS Logistics). Implement corrective actions as needed to address non-compliance issues,
  • ensuring the organization adheres to environmental and social regulations and standards,
  • eollecting and analyzing data to measure and report on sustainability performance and progress,
  • identifying opportunities to reduce energy consumption, waste, and carbon emissions,
  • conduct regular audits of logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management, to identify areas of improvement and compliance with established standards,
  • identify potential risks and areas of concern within logistics operations. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and improve overall quality,
  • provide training and guidance to logistics staff on quality-related matters, including best practices, compliance, and the use of standard operating procedures,
  • collaborate with customers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and products. Establish quality criteria for suppliers and conduct supplier audits as necessary,
  • lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • proven experience in logistics and sustainability management roles, with a strong understanding of logistics processes and standards,
  • min. 3 years of relevant work experience as Quality Manager/Logistic Manager/Sustainability Manager in FMCG or logistics company,
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making,
  • effective communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams,
  • experience in developing sustainable development strategies,
  • attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards,
  • strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively,
  • advanced English language skills.
