Responsibilities:
- supervision and coordination of GL processes,
- close working relationship with the Team Manager in order to keep the team running smoothly,
- being the first point of contact for Local Finance and SSC team members in the supervised area,
- activities related to people management: onboarding process and coordination of new joiners trainings, setting individual and team goals, providing feedback, conducting employee evaluations ensuring further development of employees, planning and monitoring job, developing an atmosphere of openness in team,
- supporting transition and transformation of local business processes from country operations into the Central Finance Accounting Department,
- being responsible for the delivery, review, and standardization of processes,
- help in reviewing and ensuring accuracy and quality of work and reports,
- reporting all the risks to the Team Manager in order to ensure high performance of the team,
- being a role model in driving a continuous improvement approach,
- active participation in different projects, e.g. standardization, automatization - identifying the items and working on the improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Finance and Accounting or Economy would be an asset,
- advanced knowledge of GL activities gained in SSC structures,
- 5+ years of proven experience in various Finance & Accounting or Audit roles,
- fluent in English (min. B2),
- strong analytical and organization skills,
- good leadership skills,
- knowledge of Oracle system will be asset knowledge of MS Office (especially in MS Excel),
- professional qualifications (CIMA/ACCA/MBA/PMI) will be an asset,
- experience in migration processes, setting up and implementing process improvements, standardization (would be an asset),
- experience in building team or change management will be an asset.
