Senior Finance Specialist, Group Accounting

• Successfully completed studies of business administrations with focus on Controlling, Finance or Auditing or comparable qualifications
• Min 5 years of work experience in finance (preferably in group accounting, controlling or general ledger)
• Basic knowledge of international accounting standards (preferably US GAAP) required
• Strong knowledge of MS office (Especially Excel)
• Above average Communication skills and team spirit
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Ability to perform as a part of a remote working
• Analytical and independent approach to work required
• Ability to drive international projects in the financial sectors
• Problem solver and hands on mentality
• Knowledge of German GAAP would be an asset
• Knowledge of consolidation software (ideally Hyperion Financial Management) would be an asset

Responsibilities / Obowiązki

• Actively contributes in the preparation of the consolidated group reporting and the financial statements in accordance with US-GAAP
• Monitors and ensures accounting quality during month end closing
• Reviews quarterly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Supports and guides our international subsidiaries in implementing group accounting guidelines and new US GAAP standards (eg. ASC 842 Leases)
• Optimizes processes - including used tools for reporting and consolidation (based on Hyperion Financial Management)
• Develops the consolidated balance sheet policy based on international standards
• Acts as a business partner for our international subsidiaries and our internal customers
• Takes part in international projects in the financial sector
• Contributes in the preparation of the financial statements in accordance to German GAAP (HGB)
• Provides guidance for judgment of business transactions based on US-GAAP/German GAAP
