We are looking for:

Workday Extend Developer

In joining, you’ll be a part of a team that helps PwC territories reinvent the way they process human capital management and drive change across their businesses. Acting as a true business partner, we get to know their business and human capital processes so that we can zero in on bringing them strategic value through automation and innovation with Workday.


Your future role:

You’ll work as part of a Workday technical team of problem solvers with extensive technical and industry experience, helping PwC territories solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • develop brand new or enhance/support existing Workday Extend Applications/Integration based on business requirements and following best practices,
  • create detailed application/integration specification and data dictionary,
  • work with solution architects, business stakeholders and functional product owners to gather business requirements of internal client’s projects,
  • be actively involved in global standardization through automation and innovation,
  • contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen.

 

Apply if you:

  • have a degree in engineering or similar,

  • show min. 2+ years of experience in software development and 3+ years of experience in Workday technical integration,

  • have strong communication, presentation and relationship building skills,

  • are experienced in iterative or agile software development methodologies,

  • strong understand of cloud SaaS architecture principles and integration patterns,

  • worked in a global/virtual team environment,

  • demonstrate strong background and familiarity with: API concepts (SOAP & REST), XML, XSLT 3.0, JSON, oAuth 2.0, encryption/secure transfers methods, hands-on experience with at least one programming language (Java, Javascript, C#, Python),

  • have prior experience in the following Workday integration technologies:

    • Workday Studio

    • Report as a Service

    • WQL

    • WWS and Workday REST API

    • Orchestrate

    • PMD Scripting

    • Graph API (nice to have)

    • Workday Connectors

    • EIBs and DT

  • demonstrate familiarity with Workday HCM, Benefits, Talent Management, Recruiting and Security configuration or have hands-on experience with testing functional aspects of delivered solutions, 

  • have prior experience in building Extend Applications or delivering complex Workday integrations in global deployment environments,

  • have prior hands-on experience with data analysis, PoC, middleware and problem solving,

  • understand security and data privacy standards, data governance and Extend app/Integration systems development standards and best practices.

 

Nice to have:

  • integration Core, Extend, Studio or Pro equivalent of Consulting certificates.
