We are looking for:

Senior Workday Extend Developer

Your future role:

  • Build, deploy and configure new Workday Extend applications both for clients and for internal PwC usage. Project, design and build the code from scratch or by using reusable code snippets available within internal PwC resources,
  • Extending existing Workday UI and UX by creating customized Workday Extend applications based on specific client requirements,
  • Rebuilding, modifying and implementing existing PwC Workday Extend applications according to the new clients specifications and by applying new available Workday Extend tools and techniques,
  • Pursuing the Workday Extend technology changes, knowledge sharing areas and incoming tool improvements to optimize apps efficient functionality and meet all existing model, application and webservices limitations,
  • Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements,
  • Advise clients on best practices, recognize, and recommend process improvements, and implement system enhancements,
  • Manage the project scope, quality, and timeline for area(s) of expertise. Provide guidance, instruction, direction, and coaching to team members. Review team members' work as necessary to ensure quality,
  • Perform research on problems, identify the true cause, and present/implement corrective measures to the client,
  • Act as a mentor and coach for less experienced team members,
  • Gain an intermediate understanding of touchpoints, dependencies, and integration aspects across different Workday area(s).

Apply if you have:

  • 1.5 - 2 years' experience building and deploying Workday Extend apps implementations, supporting Workday Apps Post Production / AMS Services, or as a client of Workday,
  • Ability to develop Workday Extend code by using Extend plugins (e.g. IntelliJ IDEA) or Developers site App Builder,
  • Q&A in built applications, including prototyping of user scenarios, code testing in available environments (development, implementation and sandbox tenants) as well as immediate testing in App Preview, 
  • Very good knowledge of pmd scripting, advanced pmd scripting techniques and advanced skills in building Orchestrations,
  • Good skills in designing and building model component elements (Application Business Objects, Application Business Processes, Application Security Domains, etc.),
  • Good or very good knowledge of Workday Security area (incl. data security policy and business process security policy),
  • Any knowledge of Workday Extend GraphAPI is welcome,
  • Ability of using git (e.g. Microsoft Azure) will be an additional advantage,
  • Ability to lead medium to large projects for the full project lifecycle in areas(s) of expertise– from initial scoping/planning, discovery, design, testing, and go live,
  • Ability to be effectively and actively engaged on multiple, parallel projects of all sizes in both supporting and leadership roles,
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work to ensure overall timeliness and quality standards with no supervision,
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues in a remote working environment,
  • Willingness and ability to mentor and ⁄ or manage other consultants,  
  • Ability to meet travel requirements (<5% a year).
